The Word Of Grace

Devotions;
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
Acts 20:32 KJV
Paul did not commend them to the word of God's judgement as some would think. They have that thought that God is looking to judge sin in the believer. God already judged sin in the body of His Son. Jesus. So Paul commends them to word of Gdo's grace. That grace is first of all the forgiveness of all our sins, past, present and future. they were all laid on Jesus on the cross and he died only once, almost two thousand years ago. We are the forgiven. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This truth, the word of His grace will set us free to boldly enter into His presence to receive grace and mercy and to fellowship with Him.
Secondly, grace is the empowering life of Jesus within us. This is the life that has perfectly kept all of the law by His eternal life which He then gives to us. When we operate by this life we walk invictory. when our banner is that it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me. I consciously turn to Him for strength and guidance and His power is displayed and made strong in my weaknesses.
This is the word of His grace that gives me the inheritance because I qualify by His blood.
