God's Word is Truth

Devotions:

        “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

‭‭John‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        We must be convinced of this, that God's word is truth, God cannot lie. What He has said in His word that He will do, He will do. When He was that if we sow sparingly we will reap sparingly and if we sow bountifully we shall reap bountifully. We cannot sow sparingly and reap bountifully nor sow bountifully and reap sparingly.  The bountifully and sparingly are not in amounts but percentages of what you have.  If you have one hundred dollars and sow one hundred dollars that is all that you have, that is bountifully but if you have a hundred thousand dollars and sow one hundred dollars, that is sowing sparingly. In 2 Corinthians 8:9, " Do you not know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though He was rich, yet for our sake He because poor that we through His poverty might be rich."  So our sowing and reaping is based on His grace. His poverty is a part of the curse of the law. Before Jesus took our sin uponHimselfa den took the curse He was highly favored and blessed of the Father and walked in the full blessing spoken of in Deuteronomy 28: 1-14. When He because our sin He took the curse of Deuteronomy 28:15-68 for us and that includes the curse of poverty and sickness and disease. Jesus became the curse for us. When we sow we are declaring that we are the blessed of God, the prosperous and rich ones.

        God through the prophet Isaiah said that His word would not return to Him empty of fulfillment but will accomplish all that it is sent forth to do. If His word is truth then we are the healed, not the sick trying to get healed. When sickness comes upon us it is the enemy trying to steal our health.   

    “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”
