“And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul and Barnabas taught in Antioch for a year.  There the disciples were first called Christians.  This is not without significance.  What did Paul teach? The message is what the Holy Spirit indicates was why they were called Christians. Christ means the anointed one and His anointing.  It is not the last name of Jesus but His title, the anointed one.  Paul taught about the indwelling presence of Christ, the anointing, within each and every believer.  It is Christ in them the hope of Glory.  Not our efforts but by the power of the anointing that we are transformed.  Our part is to yield to the anointing. We are to cultivate the presence of the Lord, His glory which is His anointing.  He dwells within us but He will not override our will to manifest Himself.  We must voluntarily yield to Him daily, constantly.  He is the power of God manifested in our lives to make us look like Jesus. He is our righteousness, holiness and redemption.  We are to live our lives yielded to His plan and His will.  When we were in full charge of our lives we made a total mess of things and were hurt. He will even repair the damage that was inflicted upon us by our own doing.  We are called Christians because Christ dwells within us.
