His Perfection

“So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing. And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples' toil, that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the Lord!”

God's laws and His ways are the ways of life. Every other way or path leads to death, destruction and misery. Many walk in their own ways and the ways of the world and wonder why they suffer destruction, misery and death. They want to walk in the blessings without changing their ways. When we rebell against God we are rebelling against good and turning to the curse. We cannot receive the blessings of Abraham while walking in the rebellion of Satan. Abraham was blessed of God not because he was perfect but because he believed in God's salvation.
In the new covenant our blessing is not in our perfection but in Jesus's perfection. Our lifestyle comes from the perfect life of Jesus in our spirit. Our spirit was made perfect with His perfection. So we are to walk in His ways by the power of His Spirit within us.
