Living In the Reality of the Word

Devotions:

      Our greatest tool that we have is our testimony.  The more we live out the word of God by the power of the Spirit of God the more that we tell the world that our God is real. We are called to live a life of miracles.  When the enemy throws a problem at us we need to see it as another opportunity to see God's promises come true in our lives.  Instead of getting up every day fearing what bad thing could happen we should rejoice at whatever comes our way not because we are a glutton for punishment but because it is another opportunity to see God fulfill His word to us to provide for us and deliver us.  God is no respecter of persons and His word is ever true.  Our lives are to be built on His word and as we do this we will always overcome anything that Satan sends our way to destroy us. 

        As we learn to stand on God's word and see it become reality in our lives we are then to boldly testify to any and all of what God has done for us and what He is willing to do for anyone who will believe. God wants to show Himself strong on behalf of those who will believe.  God's word is ever true.  God is ever looking for people who will believe His word and will not take no for an answer.

“"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."”
