Living By Faith
Devotions:
God meets us at the point of our need. We are to be walking in a life of miracles where we are daily standing on God's word and seeing it come to pass in our lives. If we do not identify our needs and stand in faith on God's word to see those needs met, we will not see clearly to see God active in our lives. We will give credit to our needs met to luck or our own efforts, neither which is true. But when we re looking to God and expecting His intervention in our life daily because we as Him according to His word we will then live a supernatural life.
Jesus said to pray, give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11. We are to ask and see God daily active in our lives as we stand on His word. This increases our faith and exercises us in how to use our faith. As we see God answer prayer daily our testimony increases and our love for the Lord grows, so our commitment to Him increases and our love for our neighbor grows.
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."”
Romans 1:17 ESV
We are the righteous by the blood of Jesus and this is to be our lifestyle.
This lifestyle is not only looking to God when we are in need but seeing that God sustains us in everything in life. So if we have money coming in to meet our needs we give thanks and acknowledge that God is the source. We walk in health, we know that God is the one who keeps us in good health. We do not have to wait until we are sick.
