You Qualify

Devotions:

“giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

        When we could not qualify ourselves for the blessings of God, God qualified us through the blood of Jesus.  Satan tries to disqualify us by tempting us to sin and when we fall he condemns us.  But when we fall we are not disqualified because the blood of Jesus continually cleanses us from all sin.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

        The light that we walk in is that Jesus has cleansed us from all sin even when we miss it. His life in us is what qualifies us and that never changes.  We walk in the light that we have reedemption through His blood even the forgiveness of our sins. 

        So we are qualified to receive healing, deliverance, prosperity, wholeness in every area of our lives through what Jesus did.  Satan lies to us and tells us that our behavior will disqualify us.  Actually our behavior changes as we accept God's grace and love in His qualifying us because we know that we do not deserve His love. Do now disqualify yourself from the blessings of God. Walk in the light of who you are, a son of the Most High God.  When we turn to the cheap tricks of the world to get satisfaction we are really saying that we do not believe that God loves us.  God has far better pleasures and joy than the world can offer and you quality.

        “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
