Devotions:

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is God's grace that brings us into the kingdom of God and sustains us there.  God's is His favor towards us because He loves us and made us new creations, just like Him.  god's grace is his life within us to make us acceptable to Him and to empower us to live in a godly way.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is more than favor that made us alive together with Christ and made us sit with Him in heavenly places.  It was the empowering of the new birth where all of our sins were dealt with and our sinful nature was replaced with His righteous nature.  We are to operate from the throne, a place of privilege not from a place of defeat which is what sin gives us.  Jesus defeated sin and paid the full price for sin by His sacrifice.  Sin has been replaced with righteousness and defeat with victory.  We are no longer in the place of being a beggar but we are in the place of a beloved son.  We then need to act like who we are.  We must paint the picture on our souls of who we are in Christ in order to act that way. By believing in who we are and demonstrating that belief through our actions we are living in the kingdom.  All by the power of God.
