“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

We wrestle against the powers of darkness, the very powers that Paul stated earlier in chapter 1 of Ephesians that we have been seated above in the victory of Christ. So these principalities and powers then are trying to wrestle the knowledge of our victory in Chirst. If they can get us to disbelieve our victory then he can keep us in defeat, sickness, poverty, depression... Through Jesus we have dominion over all the works of Satan. If we can dominate one demon we can dominate all demons. We can take the authority the demons that are trying to manipulate and control our political realm in our countries. We have no control over human spirits but we do have control over demonic spirits that are trying to dominate and influence the realms of power like in politics. We the church will be held accountable by God for what happens in our countries because He has given us the authority to take the control in the spirit realm. If we do not take the authority, Satan will usurp the authority.
