The Word of God
Devotions:
“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Matthew 13:23 KJV
The word of God alive in us is what produces fruit. The fruit it produces is whatever it is addressing, whether it is healing, deliverance, wholeness, forgiveness, prosperity...whatever it addresses is what it will produce in your life. You must understand that the word of God operates as a seed. We plant it in our hearts and water it, it will produce the faith to receive whatever we need. It cannot fail. Many Christians try the word but do not do what the parable of the sower speaks about. We must study and meditate on the word to understand it. If we do not understand the word because we have just lightly passed over it, we will find that it will not produce in our lives. When we understand the word we must take the time to meditate on the word to get it deep into our being. We meditate to understand how to do the word. So we act on what we understand. If we become distracted and do not keep the word of promise in the forefront of our thinking then we will lose our expectation of the word become real, the worries of the world, deceitfullness of riches and desire for other things open the door for doubt and steal the word. But if we will keep the word of God in front of us and choose to believe it, it will produce.
