Praying Forward
Devotions:
As we pray in tongues we are praying out our future. God knows what is ahead of us and as we spend time every day praying in tongues God is praying through us to counter the attack that the enemy has planned for us for the future. We will either pray through the trouble or pray ourselves around it. God will give us the revelation of what is to come and how to handle it whether it is personal or something on a larger scale that will effect us personally. God wants us to have this insider information about what is to come so that we will walk in victory. God cares about every area of our lives and not just about the spiritual part. He created man fully, spirit, soul and body and He cares for the total of our being. God has victory for us in every area if we listen to Him. Praying in tongues is as the Spirit gives us utterance. The Spirit of God knows the will of the Father and the full provision that God has made for us. Our understanding is limited to what our five physical senses tells unless God reveals the mysteries to us and the main way that He uses is through tongues and interpretations.
If we walk blind we will stumble and fall but if our eyes are open, our spiritual eyes, then we will see the traps and the obstacles in our way and avoid them.
