God's Goodness and Anointing

Devotions:

        “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭65:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        The ways of the Lord are the ways of blessings.  He crowns our year with His goodness not troubles and woes, those come from the enemy.  His goodness is so great, no one can comprehend the fullness of it.  When we are walking with the Lord then we will be walking in His goodness. 

        Secondly the greatest anointing comes from walking in obedience to the Lord.  His paths drop fatness or anointing. It is His path, His way not our ways that are anointed.  We should find out what the Lord wants and do it. 

        “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

        We are to live supernatural lives.  To live a natural life is to live in the realm of Satan, our enemy. To walk in the supernatural realm it is by the power of the Spirit of God.  Even in the Old Testament the ones who did great exploits for God, it was done by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  The anointing or fatness comes in the path of obedience. Great victories come in the anointed path of obedience.  When you walk in obedience to the Lord you are demonstrating your love for Him.  When you walk in disobedience you need to check your understanding of His great love for you as demonstrated on the cross of Jesus. The more we meditate on the passion and crucifixion of Jesus the more we will walk in love with Him.
