Walk By The Spirit

Devotions:

        “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:5, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Paul says in Romans 1 that the righteous shall live by faith.  We are to have faith in the presence of God within us. Our lifestyle is to find out what God wants to do and do that.  He has a plan for our lives that will contain the greatest blessings and be most pleasing to Him.  His greatest blessings come when we follow His plan for our lives.  Many try to develop their own plan and ask God to bless their plan.  He will as much as He can but He is limited because it is not His plan. 

        “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Much of our praise and worship is fleshly and thus not acceptable to God.  Our job in praise service as well as all of our lives, is to. Find out what the Holy Spirit wants to do and do it.  If we are moved by our flesh the focus is on us, if we are moved by the Spirit of God then the focus will be on him.  We are to respond or cooperate with the Spirit of God in our worship expressions and really in our whole life. 

        “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” ‭Galatians‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        We need to develope our sensitivity to the leading to the Holy Spirit with in us.  He is there to reveal the will of God to us that we might walk in His ways and under His blessings.
