Whose Plan Do You Follow?
September 17, 2017
Devotions:
“He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.” John 7:18 KJV
When we do our own plans even to try to please God we are really seeking our own glory and not God's. Our focus is to be to do God's plan. Moses did God's plan and was accused of being arrogant. But every time someone opposed him, he would fall on his face and intercede for the ones opposing because he knew that he was not following his plans but God's plan. When the people opposed him, he knew they were opposing God. When we do God's plan, God will back us up. When we do our own plan we have to fight every battle. God will bless us as much as He can, but we limit Him because we are not following His plan.
“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalms 127:1 KJV
It is to our advantage that we find out what God's plan is and follow it. Then we will have success and walk in the full blessing of the Lord. We are no match for the enemy but he is no match for God. Whose plan are you following for your life?
