Fear Of The Lord

The Fear of the Lord is to respect, honor and esteem the Lord, treating Him with highest respect, of greatest value and highest worth.
When we honor the Lord and give Him the place in our lives that is due Him because of who He is then we receive the fruit of that relationship. Humility and the fear of the Lord go hand in hand because we are acknowledging His superiority in every area. God is a God of blessings and walk with Him in the right relationship, honoring, and esteeming Him as superior to all others even ourselves then we will look to Him as the expert, expert. When we fear Him we take His word over all else including all human experts and we expect His word to work for us. Our fear of the Lord is expressed in our praise and worship of God. When we truly fear the Lord our praise and worship is from the depth of our hearts and the fervency of our praise. The focus of our praise is to honor God not to get riches, honor and life.
