God Predestinated You

Devotions:

        “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” ‭Romans‬ ‭8:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        God has predetermined that all believers would be conformed to the image of Jesus. Jesus is refered to as the first begotten that means that there is a second and a third and so on until it gets. To you.  God made provision for every human being to be conformed to the image of Jesus but they must receive what God has done.  God does not force salvation on anyone nor does He force condemnation on anyone.  It is all up to whether a person will respond to the love of God or stay bound in the lust of the flesh. 

        You will notice that God is the one doing the conforming.  Our job is to relax and allow God to do His work.  We are to receive by faith that God is at work within us to will and to do to His good pleasure, we are called to just obey and believe in God's love for us.  Even when we seem to have our lowest, most frustrating moments, God is still conforming us to His image because He loves us.  What is impossible with men is possible with God. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me.  You were crucified with Him so stay dead and let Him live through you.
