Your Witness

Devotions:

One of the most powerful ways that we have of witnessing of God’s goodness is to live in the fullness of His blessings and then share with others what God has done for us. When we are attacked with sickness, we take the word of God and speak against the affliction in our bodies and tell it to leave because the word of God says that He, Jesus, has born our sickness and carried our diseases. According to our faith will we receive what we say. That is why we need to meditate on the verse:

“This happened so that what Isaiah the prophet said would be fulfilled: He is the one who took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.” ‭Matthew‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭CEB‬‬

“He carried in his own body on the cross the sins we committed. He did this so that we might live in righteousness, having nothing to do with sin. By his wounds you were healed.” ‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭CEB‬‬

It is only what we believe as speak that brings results. It is the results that proclaims the goodness of God. God’s desire is that we walk in His goodness rather than the curse that is in the world.

As we are attacked by Satan, we take it to God in prayer knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of His children. God will never fail His word!
