Made A Little Lower Than God

         “What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,”

          This is mankind as God has designed him, mankind as God sees him. A littler lower than God.  Some translations say a little lower than the angels but the word translated angels is Elohim which is used for Almighty God.  God gave mankind  the rulership over all of God’s creation. We have been crowned with glory and majesty. Jesus came and demonstrated what a man crowned with glory and honor looks like. This is what Adam and Eve originally looked like before they sinned.  And this is what we are to look like in Christ Jesus. 

          This is the picture that God wants us to have of ourselves without even a taint of sin. Jesus answered the sin question once and for all. When we miss it and sin, our sins are covered by the blood of Jesus. There is not record before God of us ever sinning.  He made us His righteousness and as long as we are in Jesus we are the righteousness of God. The only way that we get out of Jesus is by knowingly and uncoerced reject Jesus and His offer of love and mercy. Be secure in your relationship with God and know our place is right next to God to be co-rulers with Him.
