The Power Within

Devotions:

        “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” ‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

          We cannot make all of this come about. We cannot transform our mind. We can memorize the Bible but unless the Holy Spirit acts on the word of God and gives us the revelation, the word does not become a part of us.  Here we see that God has granted us the exceeding power that works within us to bring about God’s kingdom within us.

          “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

It is the power of the seed as watered by the Holy Spirit that sprouts and brings forth without any effort on our part. We must hear the word of God and we must receive the revelation that the Spirit brings. If we approach the word of God saying, “I do not believe in miracles.” Then we will not accept the miracle working power of God. If we approach the word of God saying, “I do not believe it is God’s will to heal everyone.” Then we do not receive the truth of the word of God. Matthew 8:17. And probability is that we will not receive my healing from God. So we must receive the word. When we hear anything preached or taught we are required to search the word to see if what was said was true. We have the Holy Spirit who is our teacher to guide us unto all truth. 

        Rejoice in God’s power within you to bring about His kingdom within through the seed of the new birth. Feed daily on the word of God so that you will see yourself for who God has made you. Then you will act accordingly.
