Wholeness

Devotions:

       We are all  broken. We are all born with the sin of Adam.  The enemy takes advantage of our brokenness and breaks us further. His purpose is to totally destroy us.  Our brokenness is our separation from our Father God. Our wholeness is our restoration, our reconciliation to our God as we act on our new righteousness. God never created Adam nor any mankind to operate separate from Him. As we feed on His love for us we give out love to those around us especially those who do not know Him and will try to persecute us or despitefully use us. 

We cannot heal our brokenness with drugs or sex or work or fame or money or with other relationships. There is whole in our heart that can only be filled by God. Christianity is not a religion though it gets treated like a religion. It is an intimate relationship with our Creator God. We need to press in to know our God. He is knowable. As we pursue knowing out God, when we make mistakes, God is there to pick us up and put us on the right road again of knowing Him. If we run from Him, He cannot help us. Only when we turn to Him can He help us and turn us around. In all of your brokenness, turn to our Father God and get healed and made whole. This is His love for us. He has already completed everything necessary for our salvation.

“COME AND let us return to the Lord, for He has torn so that He may heal us; He has stricken so that He may bind us up. After two days He will revive us (quicken us, give us life); on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him. [Isa. 26:19; Ezek. 37:1-10.] Yes, let us know (recognize, be acquainted with, and understand) Him; let us be zealous to know the Lord [to appreciate, give heed to, and cherish Him]. His going forth is prepared and certain as the dawn, and He will come to us as the [heavy] rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.”
