Eternal Salvation

Devotions:
“in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
Colossians 1:14 KJV
“By that will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,”
Hebrews 10:10-15 KJV
Our holiness or sanctification is through the sacrifice of Jesus. This sacrifice He made once for all. So all our sins are forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus. He does not die every time we sin and ask forgiveness. Our forgiveness is in His finished work as signified by seating at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.
We were sanctified, made holy, by Jesus’ sacrifice and being sanctified we then are made perfect forever.
We then do not fall in and out of salvation depending on whether or not we sin and subsequently repent of our sin. Our repentance is turning to the Lord for our salvation. He has removed our sins so that we are to stop trying to fix our lives and embrace His life within us.
