The Wrong Path

Devotions: 

         People do  not just one day turn their backs on God without any reason.  There is always a path that they take.  Sometimes they choose the path freely and sometimes they are coerced into taking that path. 

When we are aware of the path, then we can avoid the beginning and not go down that path. What keeps us straight is the truth as found in the word of God. We must take time to study and meditate on the word of God so that we receive the truth from it.  A light skimming over the word of God many times produces a misunderstanding of the truth and thus produces bondage.  

          “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” ‭Romans‬ ‭1:26-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Since they insisted on not receiving God’s truth, God had no choice but to turn them over to what they insisted upon, vile affections. These vile affections are unnatural affections, homosexuality. God created men to be married to women and women to men. Satan wants to pervert God’s wonderful creation to thumb his nose at God.  Many are trapped in this sin of bondage and want out but know of no way out. Some Satan has coerced into the bondage by keeping them away from the truth. 

        The churches job is not to condemn people but to continually proclaim the truth and demonstrate the truth by out life style.
