The Love Of God

Devotions:

“And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.” ‭1 John‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The crux of the issue is God’s love for us. When we experientially know and walk in His love for us then we grow into maturity and become an exclusive expression of the love of God to a hurting and dying world. We were born of love and became a love being because we were begotten of love. When we walk in love with those around us especially the unloveable then we walk in God. Our walking with our Heavenly Father by walking in love. Jesus opened the door by giving us His righteousness which is an open door to the Father unhindered by sin. We must choose to believe that and utilize the gift of righteousness.

As we are perfected in the love of God and are confident of that love we become fearless in our prayer life and our stand against the enemy. We become passionate for what our Father is passionate for, souls. We are also confident in our standing before God, knowing that He has already forgiven all our sins. The goal of salvation is for us to walk like the love child that we were created to be.
