The I AM God is Ever Present

Devotions:

        God’s goodness is everywhere on the earth but very few access it. Whatever our need our God is the I AM, to meet that need now.

          “And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

        God sent Moses to deliver Israel. God revealed Himself to Moses and to Israel as the I AM. He is not the God who will deliver or has in the past delivered but the God who is ever present to deliver or to meet any need that we have. God referred to the covenant He had with Abraham. We are in that covenant through Jesus and we have the fulfillment of that covenant. With Abraham and the children of Israel God was limited because they were still in their sin. God acted on their behalf based on what He was going to do through Jesus. Our sin has been removed by the blood of Jesus. So that the I Am is ever present to meet whatever need we have as we ask and act in faith in His love and provision. When we make a need known to our I AM God we must believe that He has heard us as we have asked according to His will and we have the answer now. It make take some time for the answer to manifest but as we continuously stir us our expectation that God cannot lie. As we have asked according to His word, He will not fail us. We see it as done and act accordingly. His goodness is here now and His presence is here to meet that need. Praise Him that it is done.
