The Holy Spirit Testifies

Devotions:

          “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” ‭‭John‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Holy Spirit testifies about the reality of Jesus, that He was a historical figure who died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. The Holy Spirit testifies that Jesus ascended into heaven and sits on the right hand of the Father. He also testifies that as Jesus is so are we in this world. We have the nature of Jesus and the anointing of Jesus within us. So when look into the mirror of the word of God we are to see Jesus who is the exact image of the Father. As we see Jesus in that mirror of the word of God we are changed into that image in our souls, we are already that way in our spirit.

The Holy Spirit testifies of the nature of Jesus which is love. He testifies that we have the love nature of our Father and Jesus. The more that we know who we are, beloved Sons of God, the more we act like our Father.

The Holy Spirit testifies that Jesus defeated the enemy and came to set the captive free. When we sin we come into bondage to sin, but Jesus came to set us free.

The Holy Spirit testifies about Jesus returning for His bride, the church. He testifies that those who die before Christ return go to heaven to await the return.
