Faith To Receive

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2 KJV
Grace is the abundant free provision that God has provided for each one of us. We just have to know what is provided, believe it is free, it is for us and receive it. That is faith in His love for us. If we do not saturate ourselves with His promises then we will too easily believe the lies of Satan that God does not really love us that much.
Faith does not come from having heard or memorized the word of Christ. Faith must be fresh. Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. We must keep hearing not to earn favor with God but to keep our mind focused on the goodness of God and the wealth of His goodness and promises towards us. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10 Jesus came to give us life and that more abundantly. So this is the Father’s will for us, life and that more abundantly. When we do not see the abundant life manifest on our behalf, even when we are trying to believe we tend to say that we did our best but we just do not understand God’s ways. The problem is that we suffer attrition of faith. We are spiritually anemic because we have low word of God presence in our heart. We accept defeat and failure as part of God’s plan when it never is a part of the plan but we can only overcome by the word of God and the blood of the Lamb. We were created to be overcomers not accept whatever comes our way. Jesus already won the victory over the curse and the devil so do not yield to his pressure. Choose to believe in Jesus’ victory.
