Step Away From The Curse

Devotions:

          “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

          Our walk with God is directly connected with our knowledge and acting on His word which is His will. God will bless us as much as He can but He can only bless us in line with His word. Moses told Israel, I put before you today life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life..

        ““Listen closely, I have set before you today life and prosperity (good), and death and adversity (evil); in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments (precepts), so that you will live and multiply, and that the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,”

          This is not a threat from God to do it His way or else but it is the only road map to blessings and prosperity. If we are not walking in God’s way we are not walking in His blessing. God cannot lie. If He blessed us contrary to His word, He would be a liar. God is begging us to follow His ways and to step away from the curse that Adam introduced into the earth when he sinned.
