We Are Blessed

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” ‭Galatians‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are the blessed of God. We have a tendency to believe according what happens to us. When bad things happen we believe that God does not love us and we are under a curse. When good things happen we think we are in good with God. The reality is God does not change and His blessings do not change either. Faith says that what God has says is true no matter what the circumstances deal us we are the blessed. When we stand in faith in the word of God our experiences tend to level out instead of a roller coaster ride of up and down according whatever circumstances we experience.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” ‭John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the thief comes then we must resist him with the word of God. When we resist the enemy, he flees. When we know what is the enemy’s work we can then successfully resist him. Anything that is not a blessing does not belong to us and we should resist. God’s word will always work when we operate it in faith.
