“And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.‭‭” “And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. The reason that Jesus took the blind man out of Bethsaida is because of the unbelief that was throughout the city. Unbelief will stop faith from operating, even the faith of Jesus. In Mark 6 Jesus could do no mighty work in His home town because of their unbelief. We need not only have faith in God for what He says is ours but we must have an atmosphere of faith around us. If the majority of the people surrounding us are not in faith, it will hinder our faith from working.

When we believe God’s word, His anointing does the work. It is God working in us and through us to accomplish His will. We are anointed of God to minister to people. As we grow in faith in His word we grow in the anointing. Obedience opens the door to the anointing being active in us.
