God’s Word Works

Devotions:

          “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” ‭Luke‬ ‭1:37‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This is an amazing truth, that the word of God has within it everything necessary to bring it to pass. When we know the potential of the word, there should be nothing lacking for us. God has provided it all but it is released through faith. We must believe that what God said is true regardless of our circumstances or condition. God’s word says that we are healed, that settles the issue, we are healed no matter what attacks us. God‘s word says that our every need is provided. No matter what the economy where we are does, God’s supply is ours.

We meditate on His promises, His provisions until they become so real in our hearts that the circumstances fade into the back ground and are laughable.

If there is nothing impossible with God then there is nothing impossible with His word. What His word says then must be true or God is a liar. We must take God at His word adn not look to other authorities or our circumstances.

“For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, [II Cor. 9:10.] So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Too often we say, “Yes but…” there is no but in the word of God. It will work every time for every one who will work it.
