Devotions:
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”
Psalm 89:34 KJV
We have a covenant with God. Our covenant partner is Jesus. He will not break the covenant and neither will our Heavenly Father. The terms of the covenant is all our Father has is ours if we need it. All we have to do is ask for what we need. And all that we have is available to ourFather if He asks. What could God want that we have? Our voice, our hands and feet, our money that He has blessed us with to do His work on the earth.
When we know that our God is a covenant keeping God, we then have assurance in His provision for us. We then be confident in His healing our bodies. His delight is in blessing us and using us to show place His glory that those who do not know might believe that God is alive and that He loves them also.
This covenant is a blood covenant which means that God the Father and Jesus have totally committed themselves to keeping the covenant. Jesus did it on our behalf and the Father did it as God. Jesus sealed it with His own blood. We just need to accept it, and be born again thus entering into what Jesus did on our behalf.
“And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Matthew 26:27-28
