Boundaries

Devotions :

          “Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.”

          The word, issues, can also be translated boundaries. The beliefs in our heart also create the boundaries we live by. Until these limiting beliefs of our heart are changed, we cannot cross our personal boundaries.  Becoming The Person You Want To Be, Dr. James Richards,  pg. 61

The beliefs in our heart are also the lenses through which we see and interpret what happens in our lives. We can hear the truth and because of our boundaries, we twist what we heard to fit within our boundaries.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We need to take the time to study the word of God and meditate on the word of God until we truly see what God is saying. This is the way to break through the boundaries and enter into freedom God has for us.
