Love, The Way To Victory

          “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John‬ ‭13:34-35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

          Jesus gave a new commandment which was based on a new equipping. First was a revelation of how much God loved us demonstrated by the sacrifice that Jesus made to purchase our redemption. Our love for God and for each other is a product of our understanding the magnitude of God’s love for us. The more we understand His great love for us the more it creates love in our hearts for God and for our fellow humans.

Second Jesus removed our heart of stone, our heart of selfishness and gave us a heart of love, a heart of flesh. God gave us His heart. The more we fellowship with the Father and Jesus the more we realize His love for us.

It is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit that will win the world for Christ. It takes a living demonstration. The enemy has the church fighting against each other instead of walking in love. We criticize, back bite, speak evil of each other, gossip about each other so we are still carnal and not spiritual. When we look at fellow Christians we should see Christ and not each other’s faults. When we look at unbelievers we should see a person made in the image of God, no matter how badly marred by sin. Love is the way to victory.
