God Cannot Lie

Devotions:

The Bible, not our feelings or even our experiences are the basis of our faith and practice. The word, Bible, must become flesh within us, then we will see the ministry of Jesus through our hands and through our lips. God backs up His word. He will back up His people as they act on the word of God. If we are not acting on the word of God, He has nothing to back up. If He did back up something other than His word then He would be a liar. And God cannot lie.

As we meditate on the word of God, the Holy Spirit, our teacher, will make it come alive in us. This creates faith in our hearts to accept what God has done for us and what He wants to do through us.

If you are trying to get healed and believe you are healed because you feel good, then you are setting yourself up for defeat. When you have a time when you do not feel so well, you will let go of your faith and your healing. I am healed regardless of what I feel. I should rejoice whether I feel good or not if I am standing on the world of God. The word of God cannot fail or else God is a liar and God cannot lie.
